Filling holes in Mohagany Panels

We moved into our Eichler home recently. The previous owners made several holes in the original Mahogany panels probably by nails to hang pictures on the wall.
I tried to find some wood filler that would match the Mahogany color but without success.
Any tips would be appreciated.

I had good luck with Minwax wood putty for filling nail holes. I got two colors -- cherry (yellow/ochre) and red mahogany (red / brown) which matched the base and grain colors of our paneling. I'd knead together a bit from each, push a small bit into the hole, then push it smooth with a putty knife.

Orchard had this stuff a couple years ago.
