can anyone tell me where to buy exterior panels of grooved plywood for my Eichler?

A common source is Eichler Siding, which advertises on this website. Try:

Under "Get a Fix", click on Exterior Siding.

They are located in Marin and there is a delivery charge but you might be able to piggy-back on someone else's order.
