radiant heat under kitchen island?

We're looking to update our cooktop and most current option require more power and amps than the current electrical to the island can supply. I'm wondering if it's possible to run new electrical under the slab, but need to know if there's any radiant pipes running under the island before cutting an opening in the slab in order to receive a new line from outside.

Your pots and pans would get toasty warm if the island was being heated.  From what I know:  Eichler builders did not intentionally plumb radiant heating where it would not heat the house.
