this is my third try, my note gets erased every time..............
help with bathroom and other windows sought.
everything I've looked at is too heavy framewise, positively klutzy, I want to replace the original alumunum frame windows, with possibly outside dark brown inside white frames...our outside color is eath/tuscan and the inside all white with original dark beams. we are in sonoma in a eichler plan home surrounded by similar but frequently "remodeled",...we love everything about this house and want to keep to the original as close as possible. the kitchen without dishwasher drives me nuts, but it reminds me of my youth in germany when my sisters and I had to do and dry the dishes every evening (with lots of singing, complaining and laughing...)

You won't find a vinyl or wood window with a low profile. Nor should you as there's very little chance that windows in these materials will improve the look of your Eichler.
Milgard makes a low profile aluminum replacement window. No way to do separate colors though. You might be able to get black, but why not stick with the clear aluminum?
