Does anyone have a source for an 8x8 white dome skylight. We are looking to replace our original one. We are going with the opague color since we have removed the atrium feature of the house. Please e-mail recommendations to ckcoen AT yahoo DOT com

Once you go over 4foot x 4foot, it's pretty much a custom made, even if they have it in the catalog.

Found this out when I put in our 4'x4' operable in the living room. Even that one was almost special order. Now do see that it's sometimes in "stock" over at HomeDepot.

I modified ours by adding a 3rd panel on the inside and used polycarbinate. Now it's a triple pane and needed due to the pellet stove in the fireplace. That cracked the frist acrylic 4'x4' I put in due to the huge temp differential (inside to outside).

Make sure it's designed for high wind pressure if the atrium is opened to the outside. An 8'x8' will have a huge sail area and can lift right off in a storm.
