Not to state the obvious, but have you tried contacting Thermador through their website (http://www.thermador.com) to see where your nearest authorized Thermador parts and service location is? Some of these dealers have been in business a very long time and might have some parts on the shelf. It's worth a try..

In the Bay Area, I believe the authrorized service company is Appliance Experts located in San Jose.

P.S. While you're talking to Thermador, you might as well ask if they have any literature on the model (which can be emailed or faxed). I know they were very helpful with that when I looking for information on a couple of the original ovens/stovetops.
