Wanting Eichler Stories
I am compiling a book. I am an interior designer and have found a love for everything Eichler. I will have clients in my book: photos etc... However, I am looking for People that have stories about their connection to Eichler! Did you grow up in an Eichler. Purchased one and lovingly restored it??? I have an Eichler- inspired home, all the way in Atlanta GA. Built in 1958. His influence is far stretched. Although i'm sure Eichler never built homes outside of the west our home is built with imported red wood from CA, (which was obviously a huge expence to be shipped to GA). So the copycat architect stayed true even to the smallest detail.
