Contacting Escutcheon guy

My wife and I recently purchased an Eichler in Fairbrae (Sunnyvale). Our house has the original front door but the lock has been changed and the escutcheon is long gone (you can still see the ring in the door where it used to be). I want to purchase a new one and found plenty of posts directing me to a gentleman in Orange, CA who has them available for sale. I am not mentioning his name to comply with the forum rules, but it easy to find out who I am talking about, and his email address.

Anyway, I have attempted to contact him a couple of times and have not heard back. Does anybody know if he is still doing this work, or if there is an alternative source? Thanks!

I heard back from him; he was on vacation. He is currently out of the door kits but says a number of people have expressed interest and he expects to have more available at some point.

Hi - Could you forward me the name of the door escutcheon guy also. Thanks.

Hi, I purchased one of the kits. Just be aware that the hardware he uses, Kwikset, is at the very low-end. The knob is really small in the hand and feels somewhat flimsy. I would have gladly paid a bit more for a better knob and lock.

The Defiant Brand from Home Depot is just like the original doornobs so i use them! a tad cheap but keep that original look to the house

The Doorknob works and is great.
Work is Top Notch and matches the home perfectly...
If you want a better knob, its easy to change
