Atrium Glass: Frosted or Clear

I'm under contract on an atrium model eichler (E-11) and am considering replacing the windows for safety. The atrium windows are about half frosted now (along the bedrooms/bathroom). We're thinking about just making them clear to make it more open feeling, but are wondering if that's actually less desirable because of privacy for guests staying in those bedrooms. Anyone have any thoughts based on their own experience?

The picture here (not my home or my website) shows the area that I'm talking about: http://midcenturyeichlerfixings.blogspot.com/

Any info from the experience of other owners would be greatly appreciated!

Well, I happen to be in contract for the same model eichler, and I think we know eachother! :)

I am guessing that putting clear glass may not produce the most attractive look while looking from atrium, because you'll see the hallway wall right behind the glass. You may want to look at past eichler sales on redfin and look at pictures as I believe I saw some with clear atrium hallway glass sold in 2010.

Other than that, I don't believe it makes the rooms less private. Those rooms are on the way to the shared bathroom anyway, so the only way to get privacy in those bedrooms is by closing the door.
